Ghosts need entertaining

Some nights ago I noticed that there was a big tent near where I live and I was curious what it would be for. The next night I then noticed some people were setting up a stage and arranging round tables and chairs. And last night I noticed again that everyone was having a show in the tent. I am still not sure until now what the show was for but I think it was due the Ghost Festival. I'm just guessing.

I went downstairs to check it out and took some pictures. I also stood for a while in the open tent to watch a couple of singers singing Chinese songs loudly. Marcus joked that they had to sing badly to scare the ghosts. And I said "they're making me 'scared' too so I think it's not only for ghosts". No offense, ghosts.

The show began in the early evening and ended at midnight. It was mostly performances from some singers either male or female and was ended by giving away door prizes to lucky audiences.

I wasn't lucky. Damn it! LOL I wasn't even staying there for 20mins!

Anyways, opposite the stage, at the other side of the tent behind where the audiences sat there were fruits and foods as the offerings and also some statues of what they seem to believe as Gods.

Yup, that's me! Standing next to a God with a fake smile in Hatebreed t-shirt. LOL

I went home with empty hands but some pictures that I took at the show.

Enjoy! :)

Quickie: LOLoving it! "Do you wanna date my avatar?"

I assume you have just watched the music video by The Guild above. I think the music and everything else in the video sucks but somehow I still like it and find it funny.

Please check out this youtube vid

Why Tekkaus? I don't know. I just feel like recently I've been commenting to his blog more than to any other blogs and he's been seen quite often on my blog as well :)

iPod iHave

If you are on my Facebook friends list you may notice this already that I finally have an iPod! I just got it last night. So it's only 1 day old. I'm sooooo happy with this iPod Touch because since I thought I couldn't afford an iPhone I thought iPod Touch would be a solution and I was damn right! LOL (HIGLY related post: click here)

So, ya, I can't say anything much right now. I've been busy shopping at iTunes for apps. I've got 38 apps so far and they're mostly games and entertainment. I have also synced some of my photos, music videos downloaded from Youtube and of course some musics.

I hope you use iPod Touch too so we can share some things like good apps. To be honest this iPod is my first Apple product and since iLOVE Apple I was soo happy to be able to have this iPod for my very first Apple product.

This iPod of mine is the 2nd generation one and I'm thinking of getting it upgraded to the 3rd generation after some research that I've done on what's new on the 3rd gen. After learning it I thought it would be worth getting it upgraded.

At the moment I'm playing Inkvaders, Nanosour 2, Nanorally, Minigore and some other games. Oh speaking of the downloads, I have Skype installed on the iPod already so I have been thinking of making a phone call through Skype by using the headphones and connecting to the wifi. If it works I'll be very happy because this iPhone looking like iPod will be so much like a real iPhone!! Ain't that sooo cool?! It'll be like a cheaper version of an iPhone and 'unlocked' too! One more thing I really like is that this iPod has wifi connection. I hope I can update my blog using it ;-)

BTW, I talked to a friend living in Indonesia. She had this friend of hers telling her that iPod was not really good because it couldn't sync to Windows or something like that. I was a little confused with what she meant. I tried finding more and more, and apparently I figured out something and told her "To be able to use iPod or iPhone properly you have to install iTunes on your computer. It will help you find so many things for your iPod/iPhone such as apps, music, videos, etc. Even lots are for free! But... to be able to use all those cool things you have to sign up first (besides installing the iTunes) by typing in your details including your credit card number. That's in case of purchasing any apps that are for sale."

She then realized that probably this friend of hers didn't have a credit card so he/she thought it was the iPod Touch that was so bad.

I came to a conclusion. I thought iPod doesn't really work in places like where she lives with very less places with good wifi connection and also generally students or people don't own a credit card yet. Basically, in most of places in Indonesia technology such as iPod Touch or even highly more advanced stuff are not ready yet to use there. Basically again, Indonesia is not ready yet for such technology.

Hope you enjoyed your day!

xoxo
